One Four Challenge: Autumn Scene – Variation 3

One Four Challenge: Autumn Scene – Variation 3

For Variation 3, I have chosen to make the Autumn Scene a night scene. It’s a very clear night, as it frequently is in Autumn, and the stars are shining bright. And on this night, we see a full moon (a “Harvest Moon”?). The stars and the moon were added through layers, which also darkened the overall scene somewhat. The foliage was blurred a little. Using a digital tool (“burning”), I darkened and tempered the green grass in the foreground. What do you think? (If you have trouble seeing this variation, make sure your display is set for daytime and not night. If still a problem, increase the display backlight strength.)

Here is a gallery with variations 1 to 3.

There is one more week in this One Four series. This will be my last One Four Challenge. I have enjoyed doing the One Four edits, though I wish they attracted more followers and comments. I am retiring the One Four. A new feature is planned that will replace the One Four. Stay tuned for further details.
