There are three images in this week’s New Images post. Click on each image for a larger view and a fullpage option.

The base images are all photographs from the camera. Each has been edited slightly to increase color. As in previous experiments, colored and textured overlays were added as new layers. Unlike past images, the original image was not masked and the new overlays were not edited as backgrounds. Instead, the layers were mixed. To set the new colors, each pixel was set with the color equal to the difference or sum of the colors in the two layers. The results are interesting.
