“New Images” is a weekly feature posted every Wednesday exploring AI imaging and new
editing techniques incorporating new ideas about fine art images.
No generative AI in this week’s images, just a few photographs with overlays and various other edits. The feature image, above and left, is Old Rose.
Below is another photograph of roses, Three Roses.

A different image is the following photograph of an old fountain with flowers.
Finally, for this week, these are the San Francisco Peaks in Northern Arizona, near Flagstaff. These mountains, which today provide prime ski slopes, are all volcanic in origin. One can almost make out a large caldera surrounded by the snow-covered mountains. As with the above images, a texture was added as an overlay. The sky was edited, and a number of other edits were made, mainly to colors and tonality.
That’s it for this week. New Images returns on Wednesday, next week.
