This week’s Monday Monochrome is California’s “High Country,” in the San Gabriel Mountains. The San Gabriels, among the most rugged of California’s lie due north of Los Angeles, separating the Los Angeles Basin and the Mohave Desert. The highest peak is Mt. San Antonio, in the distance in the center of the photo, also known as Mount Baldy.
