I don’t think I’ve shared this image before; if so, apologies. I think theser bicolored tulips are not just striking but really beautiful. My Plant Net identifier says they are Tulipa gesneriana, with a common name of “Didier’s Tulip.” Wikipedia says: “The name “tulip” is thought to be derived from a Persian word for turban, which it may have been thought to resemble by those who discovered it.” These tulips were photographed in the studio with controlled lighting.
