Here in the Northeastern U.S., we’ve been battered this past weekend with the winds and rain of a Nor’easter, quite early for the season. But cold weather approaches for sure. Until then, here is a bit of summer to enjoy. Echinacea, popularly known as Coneflowers, is a genus in the Daisy family. Native to eastern U.S., Echinacea has been used in traditional medicine by Indigenous peoples for various ailments, including infections and wounds. It’s efficacy, however, has been questioned today.
