White Lilies

I believe lilies are among the most photogenic flowers. I enjoy photographing them. When they’re not in season outdoors, they are still plentiful in the shops. This lily is lilium candidum, known as the madonna lily. This flower was photographed indoors.

One Four Challenge Week 2 – Los Banos
This is Variation 2 of Los Banos. To create the sunset look of this variation, I replaced the sky. Then I edited exposure etc overall to enhance the sunset effect in the landscape. This variation was a lot of fun. I knew I wanted to try and create a sunset. Finding the right sky replacement…

Cascading Flowers 2
Here’s another photograph of the cascading flowers that I shared in my recent Lens Artists Challenge. Monday Monochrome – In Search of the Self
For my Monday Monochrome, I’ve chosen this image of a sculptural work by Jacques Bescond, In Search of the Self. I photographed this in the InSitu Gardens, a remarkable example of garden architecture in Redding, CT. (I will show more images from InSitu at another time.) I was instantly fascinated by this artwork and the…
