One Photo Four Ways – Sunflowers Week 2

One Photo Four Ways – Sunflowers Week 2

Here is the second variation of Sunflowers. If we use Polaroid Peel-Apart film to take a picture, then peel the layers apart before the picture is finished developing, we get some interesting effects ranging from subtle variations to more abstract changes in colors and textures. This image was produced by a digital technique that emulates the Polaroid tear off effect. I have also added a rough border that seems to go with the tear off effect.

Here is the comparison slider with this week’s variation and the original image.

I am posting One Photo Four Ways variations on Wednesdays. This is to coordinate with Leanne, who posts Thursdays, but who is a day ahead in Australia. In the One Photo Four Ways series, we select a single picture. Then on successive weeks, we do four different ways of editing or processing the image. This is a lot of fun. Variations can be subtle or bold. If you’re interested in giving it a try or joining, let me or Leanne know. Contact me in the Comments for this post, below. Or leave a comment at this One-Four post of Leanne’s. If you post images to the One Photo Four Ways series, use the tag one-four-challenge so we can all find you in the Reader.
