This is week 3 of the June One Four series. Variation 3 is above. I started with the original image, converted to monochrome, and then messed around with lighting, exposure, and contrast to achieve the above look. I was aiming for a soft look; I find it’s difficult to get a good soft image working in black-and-white. This variation results in an overall look reminiscent of Kurosowa Lighting, with dappled light and deep shadows.
