People asked me, when I put this image in exhibits, “Is that really Monet’s garden?” N…ooo. That’s just what I called it because it has (I think) the impressionist look of Monet’s paintings of his garden at Giverny.
I photographed this pond at the Hammond Museum and Japanese Gardens in North Salem, NY. These gardens are delightful. I have more images from the Gardens which I’ll post.
