AI and Traditional Photography:Landscapes Nature Abstracts Fine Art
For this week’s Monday Monochrome, I offer this image from the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This old wood is what remains from a tree, probably victim of a lightning strike, that must have stood proudly on this spot. I always find images like this full of meaning and emotion: determination, longevity, persistence, courage.
This seems so familiar, as I was there just 13 months ago. Everyone agrees (presumably) that it’s a great place for pictures.
Thanks for your comment. I think if I were editing this picture today, I’d darken the background just a bit to bring out the texture of the wood. That’s me: Surrounded by grandeur and beauty, and I photograph an old dead tree. 😀
