Monday Monochrome for this week is this somewhat otherworldly image of a Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis). Buttonbush is a deciduous shrub native to eastern North America. It is known for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. This plant was photographed in southern New Hampshire.
